Happy Gaming: Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly

This was the first game I played in the Fatal Frame franchise. We had a PS2 and I wanted to choose and play my own game( My brother and my cousin were hogging the PS2 all to themselves). The cover caught my attention when I was picking out games in a video game shop and had set my eyes on it ever since. And that was the beginning of something mutual. ♥

Happy Gaming: Assassin's Creed

I love killing people! And that's one enthusiastic way to start this post. As some of you know, I'd be willing to exchange my rest days for games. If you go over my archives, you'd see my love for Assassin's Creed and Ubisoft (Ubisoft, you never ever fail me). Discover some of Ubisoft's best-selling games like Assassin's Creed ( hamana hamana hamana), Just Dance and Ghost Recon here or you can check their list of games here.

Happy Gaming: Fatal Frame

Games make me happy. Games make me sad. There are lots of awesome games out there but I prefer to be picky. I still remember the time that I would rather spend my rest days playing than to, you know... like actually rest! Haha! So for this post, I am going to share to you the games I have played so far.

{ i don't want this to end}

Well. . . I think I'm already close to the end of  Assassin's Creed II. I'm not quite sure but ... I have this... feeling I already am.

The painful part is: I don't want it to END yet. ;_; WHY OH WHY!?  This is what you get when you're really into the game. You get to finish it earlier than expected. Mau doesn't approve at all. ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)

I already defeated Rodrigo Borgia(the main reason why Ezio's( Ezio is the protagonist assassin in AC 2) father and brothers got executed because of his tyranny) but he managed to escape.

I thought it would be the end of it. But so faaaaar, so good. No credits and cut scenes showing an ending appearing. This is a good sign. Whew. (;一_一)>

I got to play Assassin's Creed I yesterday in an internet cafe'. And damn, the feeling left me reeling.  I want to play it in my own comfort and time. Altair was so badass. He sounds so arrogant and impatient, which is a plus point for the story of ancestry. It keeps the story burning like that.

BADASS AIN'T HE?

And now to introduce the legendary...

SUPER INDESTRUCTIBLE BADASS ARMOR OF ALTAIR

I mean, come on, I already collected the 6 pedestals of the ancient assassins from their corresponding tombs and got through the traps and puzzles somehow. And TADAAAA, I was able to unlock the ARMOR OF ALTAIR. This is one of the reasons why I want to follow the story of the game.  Altair( the protagonist of AC 1) somehow has a big connection to Ezio in Assassin's Creed 2. So EPIC if you ask me.

All in all, I will play Assassin's Creed II again tonight. I am so happy that my brother will let me use the computer every night just for me to have time and play AC II. I love you brother. Here. Let me give you a kiss. (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ Chuuuuuuu.

RANDOM THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

" I want to make sure what I feel inside. I want to know. "

{ i'm an assassin \(*u*)/ }

I AM BADASS.

And I spazz on my own badass-ness. ♥

Since I'm done with Amnesia: The Dark Descent, I got to have even much more...hmmm... what's the word? ...

ADDICTING.

Super and super addicting game.

I have to say buh-bye to Amnesia and its protagonist Daniel because my computer got reformatted. There was an undetected virus in the system and keeps doing alt + tabs.

The Alt + Tabs were very... very... annoying. (;一_一) Believe me.

Stupid virus.

So we had to get rid of it.

But it's gone now. Together with my pictures, my videos, my etcs. with it. Sigh.

But I have to stay positive. I have some new badass games to boot with it ( Assassin's Creed II and Call of Duty Black Ops).

I see guys playing Assassin's Creed in internet cafe's and all that shiz, but I never. . . I mean, NEVER... imagined that it would be this awesome. I AM SPAZZING IN MY OWN DELIGHT.

I exchanged my REST DAYS with this game. I offered my soul and time for it. I even woke up 4 am in the morning and slept 2 am. Hahaha. Yeah. Even now, I'm still imagining myself climbing houses, walls, escaping from guards, assassinating people... and doing some leaps of faith. Hahaha. And also, getting laid. Yeah BABY. Hahaha.

I want to download myself some Assassin's Creeds. I want to play Assassin's Creed I, II, and Brotherhood. ( Well since Assassin's Creed III is out from the Desmond Mile's ancestry which is played in another story and another plot) I want to indulge myself with these kinds of games. I want to know the story behind Altair in Assassin Creed I because he keeps popping out in Desmond's memories ( the protagonist of Assassin's Creed II).
I think this would be the second game that I'm really into. And when I mean, "into", I really mean INTO. The first game was no other than the FATAL FRAME SEQUEL.
Playing Fatal Frame brings back memories of screams and masochistic emotions. ♥

{ progress }

Okay. I spent my whole rest days playing Amnesia and it's a time well-spent.  ♥

Back to where we left off, I progressed to the sewers and it seems fine. Haha. Later did I realize that there would be evil lurking around the corner.

Haha. I ran for my life, catching my breath(IRL) as the monster chased me around the endless sewers. My brother was screaming, ( only to put pure pressure on moi') and I ended up in a room with a ladder in it ( still with the monster chasing me around). I clicked the ladder icon to climb as fast as I can, but due to the pressure I am bearing, I forgot to press W, and thus the monster caught up with me, and I got killed. And not to mention, I screamed endlessly (IRL). HAHAHA~ My poor little heart.

So eventually, I respawned and am glad there was no monster to chase me around anymore the second time. So I climbed the ladder in peace. And thus, I found myself in the Nave.

TADAAAA! The Nave.

So I climbed out of a well. Yeah. It gives off the " Sadako" lifestyle.

There are four doors. One door's locked, the other door leads to dead end so we're down to two. The other one leads to a room with two levers in it. And the other is left to uncover most of the mysteries in this game. So finishing with the other room( which I found some important items), I continued and progressed to the mystery door. This door eventually led me to AGRIPPA's CHAMBER. *scary background music on*

Poor Agrippa.

So yeah, this poor man eventually asked you for help. He tells you to pull a switch near him, and then as you do, the fungi poison eventually starts to go out from a small machine. In short, he asked you to end his life in mercy. ;_; Euthanasia duuuude. EUTHANASIA! After all this crap, he thanked you for it and tells you some important information. So there, you progressed to the CHANCEL.

*thunder sound on*

Welcome to the Chancel.

So some short information about the Chancel:

The Chancel is apparently a bottomless pit, with four side rooms connected by bridges. One leads to the Nave, one to the Inner Sanctum, one to the machine that powers the Sanctum's protective shield, and one that leads to a room filled with statuettes, bookshelves and a blood-covered altar( a dead end). The Chancel is lit by torches glowing with eerie blue-green flames. SO just imagine passing through the bridge with eerie torches flickering and creepy voices coming out from it.

So as we progressed to the inner sanctum, it is blocked by a channel of electricity. In order to pass through, you have to search for the remnants of the orb and gather the pieces together which are found to be in the choir and in the torture chambers. So you have to go back all the way through and to the Nave, and activate the two levers which you managed to fix in the game.

So after fixing the two big gates that are found in Agrippa's chamber, you find yourself in a fork way. In my case though, I headed to the left gate first. " When in a fork way, it is always best to go to the left first." That's my own philosophy I just made from the game. FUFUFUFU. *w*

So the left gate I was. And TADAAAAAA. THE TRANSEPT: Another fy9pewtfh43hv803hpf area to dhf9ehggnh[4whe4[ on. (((( ;°Д°))))

The spiral staircase leads to a room, with some items to grab on. So eventually, this is the base room of the torture chambers. There are doors here which lead to the different torture chambers. So to make progress, you have to go in them one by one and gather the orb pieces. Your objective, remember, is to gather the orb's pieces in order to proceed to the inner sanctum. I think I'm almost at the end of the game and I don't even know if I got the good, normal or bad ending. ;_; So this kind of stinks.

So after you have looted all the lootables in this area, you have to go back and head to right gate which leads to the Choir via the Choir Entrance.

The choir entrance is a hallway with two rooms opposite each other. Going to the left room first, ( as what my philosophy is), you get to have a flashback where Daniel got really... really.... scary and ... eerie... and... WHO DO I KID!? He gooooooot maaaaaaad!!! INSANELY MAD! ヽ(゜ロ゜;)ノ

He mercilessly experimented on that body above ;_; So after all the drama and the looting, you get to go outside to the hallway again and you see two bodies hanging from the ceiling ( which is really spooky). So on to the Choir I go.
THE CHOIR.

This is the scariest and the most confusing area I have been in so far. And this room is all dark and RED. I have to stick to the walls to guide me through this insanely large area. There are monsters looming everywhere, so that means, no lamps for us. There are other rooms here that got the other orb's pieces. Basically, all in all, you have to sneak your way in every inch in every angle. When I was done with all the this spooky crap, I hurried ( in a sneaky way) to the exit. BUT UNFORTUNATELY, a Grunt spotted me. And another Grunt. And another. I RAN AS FAST AS I CAN TO THE DOOR AND DIDN'T DARE LOOK BACK.

This lovely gruesome handome young crit, just won't leave you alone. *smiles with tears*

I managed to get out with no scratches btw from the RED ROOM OF PAIN.

Now that you have all the pieces together, you go back to the Inner Sanctum entrance to put all the orb's pieces together to battle out Alexander for the last time. BUUUUUUT...

Yes, there's a but. ( which is kind of unexpected). As I was heading back to the chancel, there were three grunts that caught me off guard and TADAAAAAA~ I got captured by those handsome people.

My very own paparazzi. 。゚(゚ノД`゚)゚。

I thought I got killed by the grunts, but eventually, it IS part of the game that you are captured by them. So I found myself waking up in a cell that the grunt took me in.

Well due to the smartass that I am, I managed to get out without using a spoon as a shovel ( you know, from those movies). =.= and yes, I was  trying to make you laugh.
I get to loot some items here and there, and I managed to get out back to the nave. MUAHAHAHAH~ I am ebiiiiilllll.

The locked door in the Nave was the cell's entrance ( if you have been reading my blog and followed all throughout.)

So yeah, I'm practically right there at the moment. I can't wait to finish the game. I am anxious to know what kind of ending would I end up with. I hope Daniel defeats Alexander. (´Д`。)

okay, that would be all folks. And i know that this blog post is long. Haha. I DID tell you that I would update my progress in the game. So there you go. Haha.

P.S.

Gotta get my nails painted with artsy cutesy fuuuufffys today. ♥

YAAAAAY!~  Till next blog everyone.

{ amnesia: the dark descent }

OKAY. NOW IT'S OFFICIAL.

I'm back to gaming mada pakas!

And to Amnesia: The Dark Descent is where we shall find chills and adventure all mixed up together at the same time.

Now a quick summary of this 1st person view game:

Amnesia is a survival horror game developed by Frictional Games, who previously developed the Penumbra series (next target for moi'). You get to play Daniel, who at first woken up, suffering from an amnesia. He found himself in an empty hallway, light-headed and with strange traces of pink liquid all over the floor. ( The pink liquid was probably the potion he drank to get himself an amnesia). So this is where the adventure begins. You have to unravel the mysteries of  Brennenburg and your memories start to come together piece by piece. You will eventually discover that you have to stop and kill a man named Alexander. As you get yourself closer to the truth, it would get more and more interesting and spine-chilling. You get to meet random-spawning monsters called as GRUNTS and the funny thing is; you only have a lamp as a weapon to fend off the horror that awaits you. Your only way to survive is to run and hide. ヽ(゚Д゚)ノ

Summary by yours truly (c) Mau. (´ω`★)

A Grunt.

I've made progress at the prison and now I'm already at the Cistern area. I've also done all the puzzles in the Control Room and in the Water Cistern area. I was so lucky there were no grunts there. ;_; Otherwise, I would've wet my pants like a baby. Hahaha.

The most interesting area I have gone so far was the Morgue. I've found bodies that are said to only be one-day old and is still in the stage rigor mortis. Hahaha. I've done some live surgery on a body to inject myself with the antidote against the fungi poison that is said to be found in the sewers. There was also a live crematorium in the morgue. I found bodies everywhere.

BODIES EVERYWHERE. ♥

Also in this area, you get to encounter the BRUTE for the first time.

Daniel gets to have another lover chasing him around. Oh, Daniel. You and your pheromones. ♥

In my part, I hid in the room in the right filled with decaying bodies and water. ( I almost got insane)

THE BRUTE.

Now I'm in this terrifying area. THE SEWERS.

Because of the game Amnesia, every time I encounter water in this game, I get to imagine that invisible water monster( a Kaernk). DOH! But luckily in this area, you only get to hide from a Brute.

A KAERNK

A sneak peek of the sewers. ♥

The filthy, lovely sewers of Brennenburg.

Till my next blog and update on this game. ♥

Gotta bring a friend to my house to let him play this wonderful, endearing game. ;>
