{ A Pancake House Treat}

I am sorry for the loooong hiatus. I've been busy with work and I never got the time to blog about certain things. Currently, I have three pending blog posts besides this one. Ugh. I need to make time. Forgive me. ;_;

Today's feature is a bit late. This happened way back in August. So to carry on, today's hot seat will be on...

Yup, that's right. This was my thanksgiving party. This was after my oath taking and the like. I invited Guada and Mary along. Trusted friends galore, yeah? ♥

Anyhoo, a little something about today's feature.

Such a beautiful entry. ♥ Just by reading this, I get to imagine what it's like in the early 70s.

My mom was super duper hungry while we were waiting for Guada and Mary to arrive, so without a second thought, she then ordered a simple dish. A breakfast dish to be exact ( even though it was dinner time). Some foreigner watched my mom as she gobbled the morning meal. We, Filipinos, simply eat when hungry and there are definitely no exceptions. :)

Pancake House offers hearty meals topped with high-class ingredients. ♥

Pancakes with sausages and a cup of coffee was my mom's choice of meal. ♥

I, on the other hand, also watched mom eating her scrumptious meal, and even though I was hungry, I kept on waiting for my friends' arrival.

After 30 minutes or so, my friends finally arrived. (FINALLY ';_;)

Featuring Mary and Guada respectively. Tadaaaaaa. ♥

Mary's choice of meal was Salmon Cakes with Brown Rice Tabbouleh worth PHP196.00.

Guada's meal was Cornmeal Crusted Fish worth PHP213.00.

Since I have a knack for sweet things, this was mine. Caramel Banana Walnut worth PHP191.00.

After gobbling our way to full stomachs, we just had to try out their best seller. The so-called Key Lime Pancake worth PHP198.00.

We were expecting a grand entry for a pancake but what surprised us was this tiny cute haven. ♥

...and of course, let's not forget about this:

We had a jolly good time. Till next! ;D

It was a wonderful dining experience. You can also call it as foodporn :D

{ Manggahan }

Yup. That's it. That is the title I will have for this blog. Manggahan. Manggahan is a visayan term meaning " a place with many mango trees".  Here, in this case, is the name of a restaurant located at 30 Wilson st., Apas , 6000 Lahug, Cebu City, Philippines.

This is Manggahan's front

I would like to thank Mary Palompon for the invitation. Her thanksgiving party was held here at this place so I decided to blog it all out.

This is the restaurant's stage where they have live bands performing every Fridays and Saturdays. Sad to say, we didn't get to watch a band perform since we visited the place on a Thursday. :D

My point of view.

The counter.

When Mary sent me an invitation to her thanksgiving party and told me the name of the venue, I was like " Say what again?". Yes. With that name, you will wonder. But have you ever wondered why it's called that way? Well, this; I tell you. They have many mango trees located at the back of the restaurant as an extension of the place. Thus, the name.

I just took this shot from the inside.

Manggahan offers a wide variety of grilled meat and seafood dishes, Filipino and Chinese cuisine alike. They also serve exotic meals like Crocodile Sisig for 188 PHP ( Yes, it is sisig made up of crocodile meat) for those who have adventurous taste buds. You can dine in an air-conditioned room or dine outside under the shades of the mango trees.

Their prices are surprisingly low. Their prices for unlirice for mais or corn and humay are 20PHP and 25PHP respectively.

We enjoyed the mouthwatering food and its stupendous unique taste. ♥ It was an all out experience for me.

They also serve alcoholic drinks. So if you want to waste the night away with your friends and still be in a place where good ambiance is present, Manggahan is perfect for you. As you can see, Guada is having a drink herself. :3

We spent the whole evening here before heading out to karaoke again. Me, and my friends. Haha. ♥

Your random blogger and her friends,

Mau ♥

{ keep the flame burning }

Okay, since Valentines is over and Otakufest too, I get to be "not-THAT-busy" again. Haha.

I'm waiting for people to tag me photos of my cosplay since I arrived late at the event. After work, I wooooshed my way to UP grounds with Labs. She has such wonderful hands that can make any rainbows you can think of. ( Ignore me.)

Isn't she the greatest? ♥

----------

Anyhoo, I'm going to introduce the wonders of my friends on Valentines Day.

They went with me to the sastre so I could get the costume on Valentines Day. Imagine that. ON Valentines Day. ♥

Fubu (Mico) wasn't about to go with us (r: traffic, parents, place of address) but I managed to persuade him somehow. YEY to the power of persuasion. (*^*)> ♥

After some errands here and there, we went out for dinner. We went to the nearest restaurant there is just to celebrate Vday. Haha. And that place would be Lola Eat's Food Haus.

Their food was grand and delicious. And most of all, their prices were so affordable. Believe me, was so AFFORDABLE.

When we asked for the receipt, ( I was already estimating the range of expense), I was sooooo shocked ( not only me, but also Behbeh and Labs) that it was the least of our expectations ♥ Good heavens. This I approve. And I recommend you guys to try this restau sometime. I give it two-thumbs-up. ☻

^

MY BEHBEH AND LABS respectively.

( I have too many girlfriends. )

----

We ordered their best seller " Pork Belly". ( Price Range: Php90-130 ) and some Clams. ♥

We munched our way to VDAY. Haha.

^

I, on the other hand, was filled with rainbows and hearts. ♥

{ Viva Pit Senyor}

When I asked permission from my mom if I could go with some friends and explore the streets of the festivities, I was so happy when she said YES. A big fat and juicy YES.

Happiness overload extreme.

So yeah basically, I went to Ayala and there were many people.

Sinulog is the ONLY festival that would make me realize that Cebu is overpopulated.

. . . . . .

And now, introducing this guy. Haha.

A friend and I ran into each other yesterday.

Since he was alone and my friends had to go home since it was getting dark, we decided to take a stroll.

Food was the only thing on my mind. And he laughed when I told him I have a second stomach. I wonder why. o.o

This guy here, is my friend slash IT personnel slash my-phone's-technician slash facebook-and-instagram downloader.

Haha. I owe him the wonders of my phone. And speaking of instagram,

8* Instagram and the wonders of 3G

- So yeah. One of the main reasons why I am craving for an Iphone is Instagram. Haha. I know it’s soooooooooo stupid, but I’m a girl, and I have my wants. Haha.
Another item crossed out. ;_;

2013 is being so kind to me. I love you good vibes.

We also had ourselves some henna tatoos. :">

--------

Yes I know. That's a frog. A red frog. ♥♥♥

I get to spend with this behbeh for two weeks.

----------

Since I was craving for something sweet, I told my friend to go with me to KK. (krispy kreme) and there I bought a dozen for my family and three sweet luscious donuts for moi.

- Mango Crust Donut

- Hersheys Cookies n' Cream Donut

- Chocolate Glazed with Sprinkles Donut

Haha. Imagine the caaaaaarrrrrrbs and sugaaaaar. ♥

I offered Mark (my friend) some bite but he was so whiney about being full and stuff. Suits me. It means more for moi~ :D

-------------

After feeding ourselves with some sugar, we decided to pay someone a visit. Sun was being a b*tch again. Messages were delayed and you can barely even contact someone. So we had a hard time exchanging messages with my most behloved LABS <3

When we arrived at her house we then started the whole conquer thing. We then had ourselves another henna tattoo from hers truly, labs.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
NO WORDS CAN DESCRIBE HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS WOMAN. ♥
Spending Sinulog with my friends is SHUUUUUPPPPAAAAATSU~ ♥
Mark and I were also, unexpectedly, got invited to dinner. And guess what I got for as the side dish. ♥
----------
My friends know how LAMAS can do magic to me. ♥
-----------------
They're two peas in a pod. Hahaha. ^_^v
We also get to watch fireworks from a balcony.
♥♥♥
I'm glad that I get to spend Sinulog 2013 with people close to my heart. ♥
{ Happy Holidays everyone}
I had fun from yesterday's Christmas Party in our company.
Everybody was dressed so beautifully. (;_;) ♥
This was the venue before the party started.
The company rented Skyrise 4 Bldg.'s whole 6th floor to accommodate the number of employees and staff of QQ.
It was full of ubber fun and excitement.
The food was delicious and the presentations were funny and great
It was a one-time celebration for the yuletide season.
-------------------------------------------
I would like to appreciate these people.
Miss Rinah( our female vocalist) , Sir Clint ( our lead guitarist), Sir David(our male vocalist/beatboxer)  and Miss Gayle (our keyboardist). ♥
And of course, yours truly, the bassist.
 Because of these people, every session was memorable. I get to perform in front of our company's audience ( and of course, in front of the big bosses), with them.
