2014... so far

Earlier last year, I had made a wishlist for me to do in 2014. So here's what I have done and what I haven't done. 

The things that are crossed out - DONE

2014 Wishlist:

1.) LOSE WEIGHT

First and foremost in my list, is that I have to absolutely lose weight. This was a goal in 2013 that I wasn't able to achieve ( Food, you're such a b!tch.)

MY SAY: I think I kind of did though. People were telling me that I slimmed down. Haha. I don't how I did it but I think I did. Lol!

2.) MY LOVE FOR PORTRAITS

I have so many ideas I want to catch in a photograph. I hope I will find the time this 2014 to do it. More portrait photography projects for me. *crosses fingers* Hopefully!

MY SAY: Of course. I had so many portrait sessions in 2014. If you would like to check them out, check out my photography page. ( Although there are some link errors, I am going to fix them soon.)

3.) CALL ME MAYBE

Cherry ( my first android phone) has passed away. *pauses dramatically*. So I have to buy myself a new one. I'm going to get myself a Samsung Galaxy Core because, well... just because.

MY SAY: Better than a Galaxy Core! It's an S3. I know S3s are like totally phased out but still, it has better specs than that of Core. Plus, my boyfriend and I have matching phones! We also bought it on the same day. Now ain't that love? 

4.) A MUST HAVE FOR A BLOGGER

I'm planning to have my own laptop. Personal whelps in life.

MY SAY: No. I wasn't able to buy one. Maybe it really wasn't a priority at the moment. Besides, I have my mother's laptop to abuse. Haha. 

5.) BE MORE GIRLY

Sigh! I've been all baggy pants and tees the past year. I'm becoming a boy as we know it. MUST. BE. MORE. FEMININE.

MY SAY: And of course, I had so many Outfit Shots that it's safe to say that I had become more feminine the past year. Ohohoh!

6.) TRAVEL WITH ♥

Mac and I are planning to travel to a certain place this April. Clue: it's a COLD place. *winks*

MY SAY: Finally traveled with my goofball. We had fun exploring Baguio like there's no tomorrow. We had bright and cold days during our stay there. We made new memories together. Hoping to travel to more places in the future. And of course with mah goofball. ;)

7.) PERSONAL STYLE BLOGGER

Since I'm a follower of famous fashion bloggers everywhere, I would like to share my own fashion picks to the world. And of course, be successful about it.

MY SAY: I finally became the personal style blogger wanna be that I have always dreamed of. I prefer calling myself as a personal style blogger because I showcase my styles, not yours, nor anyone's. These styles are definitely ME. 

8.) FROGS

Will. Not. Stop. Collecting. Frogs.

MY SAY: New year, new frogs. ♥

9.) GINGER GIRL

Is planning to dye my hair ginger or reddish brown. And I'm either going to keep it short or grow it long.

MY SAY: I dyed my hair with auburn. But the result wasn't really what I had in mind. @_@ And also I grew my hair long but had it cut in the last week of December to welcome the New Year. New Year, New Look!

10.) PRACTICE 

I will learn how to officialy cook this year. Period.

MY SAY: Wasn't able to. Spent most of my time playing games. 

11.) WILL BECOME BEAUTIFUL.

I have been in the blues lately. Because of my weight, I have been degrading myself. I insult myself. As a result, my confidence and insecurities are overwhelming. I have to boost my self-confidence by making myself more and more beautiful each day.

MY SAY: Because of peers, loved ones and family, yes, I had become beautiful. 

12.) WILL BUY MORE CLOTHES

Of course to be a girl, you'd have to become one. All in all, I need to buy more girly clothes and of course, with feminine touches.

MY SAY: Wasn't really able to buy that much. :C Booo. 

13.) BLOG MORE

I somehow find comfort in blogging. That's all there is to it. And it makes me happy that people, whom I know and not know, are following it. And I am earning money through blogging! I am so happy! :D

MY SAY: Yeah! I blogged a total of 60 posts in 2014. I think that's counted. Haha. Plus I received emails of collaboration. I am obliged you guys. ♥

14.) WILL HAVE A NEW CAR ( I think) 

There are signs here and there. And hopefully! Haha!

MY SAY: No. Haha.

15.) COLLABS 

I have friends who are bloggers too. Hopefully, I can do a collab with them sometime in the future. Not only with them, but with other shops.

MY SAY: Collab done! I did a collaboration with Kim from WeirdKim taking outfit shots here and there. ♥ The power of friendship! 

16.)  WILL IMPROVE MY BLOGGING EXPERIENCE

I am planning to give my little blog a makeover. Yaaaaaay!~ ♥

MY SAY: MAKEOVER DONE! The theme is so chic and simple! Thanks to Andreea for having answered every one of my questions. What great customer service! So quick and very accommodating. I love the total makeover of my blog! <3 What do you think? 

17.) UPGRADE MY GEAR

And gear, *tchichuk* I mean GEAR. Let's lock and load baby. Kidding aside, what I meant with the gear is the Photography Gear. I want to upgrade some parts.

MY SAY: Because of a sudden incident which resulted my heart to break into tiny little pieces and had led me to upgrade. So, there. Upgrade. I absolutely love my new camera which I named M.A.C.( Mobility Automated Camera) because Mac named his motorcycle " M.A.U" short for Massively Armored Unit. Boyfriend and girlfriend weirdness noted. 

18.) WILL DO SOME SELF-PORTRAITS

Giving others their share of portfolio photos is one thing, but giving yourself is another story. I am going to mix my creativity with my imagination when it comes to MY photos. Mehehehe! ( For the sake of new profile pictures in Facebook. )

MY SAY: I didn't expect that the day that I made this post and saved it as a draft was also the day that Mac and I did some creative self-portraits. The experience was short but fun! Don't mess with a girl with a mustache, that's for sure!

19.) WILL EXPAND MY CIRCLE OF FRIENDS

I love making new friends. Friendship gives me strength. I want to introduce my friends to my new friends and my new friends to my other friends. :D It's likefriends galore and all. I would also love to spend more unforgettable moments with friends.

MY SAY: I did make some new friends ( Mac's friends) but wasn't really able to hang out with them not like the year 2013 which was a friends galore kind of year for me. So, no.

20.) WILL SPEND MORE TIME WITH FAMILY

I know I'm so friends-oriented and all ( as what my mom called me), but I want to dedicate this year to my family. Because nothing can replace them in the world. ♥ I love you mama, daddy and kuya! C:

MY SAY: Of course. Family comes first. ♥ And games make me stay at home so yeah. Haha.

21.) WILL CELEBRATE ONE YEAR WITH ♥

Just a few months have passed and it feels like we've been together for quite some time. It feels so strange and at the same time, warm. ♥ He is my personal favorite goofball in the whole world ( not like there's any other). Hoping to celebrate our anniversary together this year, and more anniversaries in the future. ;) *winks* ( if you know what I mean)

MY SAY: We have reached one year and you know what that means! Time to have the next. We had so many adventures together and we are inseparable. It's such a breath of fresh air to be with Mac. He makes me laugh when I'm down and that's one of his perks. ♥ We're still getting  stronger, world.

Things that happened in 2014:

- January. Got hired as an official photographer for a couple's engagement shoot in January. 2014 already welcomed me with open arms. Check my blog post regarding their shoot here.

- February. Despite me being a local in Oslob, I had never tried whale-shark watching. But Harumi Ebihara managed to fulfill one of my dreams. See post here. 
- April. Made my first ever bento! It was experiencing! So far, I am happy with the results. 

- August. I bought myself super duper rad gaming electronics! Such happiness! ♥
- September. FIRST ANNIVERSARY WITH MACOCOCOCO and got promoted at work!
- December.Upgraded my camera.
