Purple Night
Remember my post about me wanting to visit La Vie Parisienne at night because I wanted to see the flowers light up? Well, I finally got to do it. And it sure was magical.

Richard and Rosefil
After I uploaded Suna's shots on facebook, a sudden and unexpected turn of events happened. People liked and complimented my shots. Despite all the good feedback, I still have a lot to learn in Photography. I want to improve and be more creative. I don't use Photoshop to manipulate my photos. Well, I don't like manipulating photos AT ALL. But I merely enhance them. That's it. I want my shots to be natural. :I

{ My Brightest Light: In Memory of Princess Angob}
Ever... again.
One of my closest friends, Princess Angob, passed away yesterday, November 27, 2013. She left the world at a very young age. And as I would remember her, the words " hyper", "energetic", "noisy", "funny", "random", etc. and all the synonyms of those words, would pop out in my mind. She would keep things at her own pace, mostly in a bad way and it sometimes annoys and pisses me off. But that's her, and I accept her as who she is. And I definitely won't change her.
No wonder I didn't have the appetite for lunch yesterday before noon. She passed away at that time. After work, I received a text message from a friend while I was getting my things from my locker, stating " Cess is gone. :C ". I just stood there. Stunned. Shocked. In total disbelief of what I had just read. I couldn't believe it. I didn't want to believe it. I replied to the message as I hurriedly drove home. I want to see it for myself. To see is to believe, as the saying goes. As I cruised over her Facebook profile, wall posts of " R.I.P."s, " Thanks Cess for everything...", sad messages like those, consumed me. I also read a status from her brother about her passing. " Even though we've fought a lot of times, and mostly because of misunderstandings, I will always love you my little sister. R.I.P. Princess Angob". All of a sudden, a flashback of our memories together and a giant feeling of pain suddenly overwhelmed me at that instant and tears suddenly fell. I started crying. Sobbing. Calling out her name, hoping her spirit would hear me. Imagining that she's just standing there in front of me. Would see me in dismay. Letting her know how much she means to me.
We've shared problems, played countless Counter Strike games against each other, drink to our heart's content on silly matters such as love dilemmas and the like, and call each other insulting names as an endearment. But that's what our friendship was all about. It was true. It was magical. It was lovely.
She was such a strong girl. When I asked her how she's holding up when she heard the news about her illness, she answered " God has plans for me. You will always be my sweety, remember that. Don't worry. Everything's going to be alright. I'm strong just like you." What I didn't know was that ...
... those were her last words to me.
Reminiscing all the memories I have with her is all I can do now. She has gone to a place where I can't reach her. She left her family and her friends in the material world. And to where she is right now, I know she isn't suffering and is in the safest company. She is happy. With Him.
Losing her made me realize that life is easily lost. And you only get to live it once. First thing, you're hanging out with someone; laughing, having so much fun and the next thing you know, that person is gone. Just like that. In an instant. That quick. It's so painful. But what's more painful is that, she isn't there anymore. It's not like those moments wherein a person moves to another country. You'd still have means of communication, even if that person is on the other side of the world. This is different. She is permanently gone, and it breaks my heart. And as I am typing this now, I am sobbing.
My friend sent me Cess' mobile number and told me to send her my last message. She reassured me that Cess is REALLY going to read it. And so I did. Without a second thought. It is so ironic that I have so much to tell you, but life is really short. Really... really short. Remember our favorite quote: " Sweety, I'm blinded by the white light." We would say this every time you would throw a flash bomb at me in Counter Strike. Oh, those times. </3
Sweety, I really treasure our friendship. You are one of the greatest gifts that God gave me. You've let me experience new things and new feelings. I know you are in a very wonderful place right now, but I just want you to know how much you mean to me. I really really love you Sweety. If only I could feel your touch, see you smile, see you have fun while you're playing your guitar, hear you laugh and call out "Sweety" one more time... And also, would be given enough time to tell you one last message, I'd gladly accept.
If only.

Cess,
You were like a sister to me. My partner-in-crime against boys and their odds. My personal clown when I feel the blues.
And especially, you were my brightest ray of light during my darkest times.
My deepest condolences to the Angob family.

{ Tumalog Falls}
It's been such a long time since my last blog post. Ever since I got a job, it's been "busy busy busy". I would like to blog all about my adventures, if possible, everyday. But sadly, it can't do. So anyhoo, I will try my best to manage my time wisely and thus on to the chase.

BTS - Two Of Us
It was cloudy. I had a few problems with my camera due to that. The exposure and the ISO was so out of hand that it took me a while to figure things out. Because of that, my first pictures were so overexposed that I only got white as a capture. I have to tweak again and again to adjust to the surroundings.
Here's the whole shoot team. GO GO GO FIGHT-O!

Even Gemms the Car was in the photo, YAAAAY. ♥ Who wouldn't forget Gemms? I love you to infinity and beyond.
I find it so funny that there was an equal number of girls and boys in the team. Haha. I am so weird. And as I am typing this now, I'm smiling. What the duck. o.o

The girls were choosing the first choice of wardrobe to match with the venue. We discussed how this color compliments with that color and so on and so forth.
And the make up artist has done her wonders on the model. ♥ Thanks Bits. xoxoAnd well, the boys....

. . . had their moments of sacrifice. Hahahaha.
And thus, the shoot starts after a long moment of preparation for the girls. Haha. And Mac called this pose as the " Cat Woman" pose. -_- MEN.

Ray and I were the photographers of this shoot. I was thankful for he gave me tips and pointers of how to use the camera. And so did Mac. Thanks guys. xoxo
And these are some of the BTS shots taken by Mac.

I want my shots look natural as possible, and in order for me to do that, I have to mutter out these refined words just to make the both of them laugh. I am so evil. >:D

Since I was the one who organized this shoot, and with my so-called couple ideas, IT IS SO EXHAUSTING to be a creative director slash photographer. But hey, it's a first. I also love how my friends would contribute their ideas. I am so happy I have you guys. ♥
After the first set, we decided to take a break ( and for the models to change to the next wardrobe) and buy drinks to quench our thirst.
And this would be the second set. ( And I still don't know why Mac takes pictures of me in the oddest ways. Haha )

DAT AZZ Haha.
But wait, there's moreeee! >D

I mostly did all the shooting. But Ray and Mac were kind enough to hone my skills. Char. Haha.
Ray owns a Nikon while Mac owns an Olympus, and I, Canon. Meant to be? Haha.

I can't wait to post process the photos. ♥ I had fun and I want moaaar of it. I love it.

{ A Night of Movie and Magic ♥ }
Hello guys. Sorry for the late update everybody but since I'm always at home, facing my computer and playing games like a lazy old woman, I haven't had the chance to blog about something new and interesting. Not until today.
If you and your friends are into popcorn and movies, and has trouble looking for an affordable place but yet with awesome facilities, this movie house is for you.
DVD ROOM MOVIE CAFE
(located on Salinas Drive, Lahug; just between Tonyos Bar & Restaurant and Golden Cowrie)
This place was established March this year. So it is not yet well known.
They have different kinds of rooms , each with an affordable price. And each room holds a different number of people. The smallest room would be the "Bedroom" that accommodates only two people ( a room with an ACTUAL bed) and the largest room holds 30 people max. It is ideal for parties and celebrations.
( The "Bedroom" is still under observation, so it hasn't got a GO signal for it to be used by the public)
Budget: 150-300 PHP/room. Depending on the room used. The larger the room is, the higher the price ( 300 PHP)
They do not only offer movies as entertainment, but also karaoke. If you are the type of person that loves to sing, I recommend this place. You can either watch a movie or sing to your heart's content, or both. *winks*
It's such a waste that I didn't get to bring my camera on the day they gave Suna and I a tour of the place. I would have taken lots and lots of pictures and show it to you guys. ;_; And also, that tour was unexpected so I was off-guarded as a blogger. Tch.
When I'm going to go there next time, I promise that I'm going to ask the clerk to give me a tour again, and this time, with a camera.
Blogger's promise. >:I
-------------------------
And now, a quick tour of the place.

This is the movie house's LOUNGE.

They offer a wide range of movies to choose from.

We decided to watch a Korean horror movie, "THE WIG". It's a cold day and it's a great excuse to cuddle with someone. Hahaha.
This room holds 8-10 people max for 200 PHP. With that said amount, two people are free of charge and 30 PHP for additional heads. This also applies to other rooms as well.

Suna and I gave the boys chills with our sudden screams and yells. They complained that even though they expected what would happen next, they would still get startled because of our sudden "Eeeek"s and "Aaaaah"s. This is girl power people! LOL

I think from that actress' facial expression, you would probably guess what would happen next. >D
After the movie, we went to McDonalds to decide what we're going to do next since the night was still young.
After countless ideas, we decided to listen to live bands' playing at TONYOS BAR & RESTAURANT located in Salinas Drive, Lahug. We all had the time of our lives. ♥

Till next time guys. :3
