June 3, 2017, Saturday. The purpose for this journey was to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, to feel no attachments, to feel at ease, and to see Lara again. That was where we were getting at. Except for the heat, the prickly water, and the expenses, everything was going great.

When Life Gives You Lemons
...make lemonade! There are times when I want to get out and just let my feet take me wherever. I want to travel. I want to conquer fears. I want to laugh until I cough out, gasping for air. I want to lie wherever and just gaze at the stars.

Judee's Vacations by the Beach - V2's Review
We finally had our reunion! After so, so long, we finally got together last Monday, March 14, 2016. It's good to see my friends again after years of constant missed schedules and the like. We got to catch up with each other's lives and share stories—good ones and bad. We call our little circle of friends V2. We've been together since 2011, and the group consists of mostly couples. Haha. We would have summer outings annually. This year...well, I'll tell you all about it. Besides, this post will all be about our little stay in Judee's Vacations by the Beach. This is to warn future goers. This is OUR review.

Aura
This is a late post. To be more exact, a month late. I wasn't busy or anything like that but just didn't have the time to edit the photos and blog about it. I don't know why but it must be the heat or the rain or both. Haha. Enough about my senseless reasoning. I had fun taking photos of Aura, a woman who was both physically and emotionally beautiful. She was confident, to say the least and oh-so-adventurous. She can climb mountains fast and cross bamboo bridges without breaking a sweat. Her silly jokes crack you up and the way she handles everything, it's admirable. Although we had been together for like a day and a night, it was enough to know what she's like, towards her family, her friends and her loved ones.

Bluer Than Blue
A day well spent in the waters, the air, the sand, the people, practically everything you could ever hope for... Man, the whole experience, I can still feel it. The crystal waters, the white sand, the summer sun. The view was breath-taking and even the word beautiful is just an understatement. It was so tranquil and peaceful, that it would be a shame to leave the place. Oh, a day well spent indeed. Even if I come up with a thousand words to describe the place, they wouldn't be enough. You'd be surprised when you hear yourself repeating the word "very" to every adjective you could think of ( believe me, been there). I'll let the pictures do the talking instead and you decide. Can you imagine waking up to this scene? It would be a dream come true. ♥

Boho
One of the many perks why I love my hobby is that it is, itself, an adventure! On one summer day, Dane, Camille and I set off to visit an abandoned golf park. When we got there, instead of expansion of greenery, we were welcomed by fields of brown instead. We weren't surprised at the sight of that. It IS summer. Photography has given me so much freedom since I first laid my hands on a DSLR. It keeps my creativity pumping and so so alive.

Banoffee Float
Have you ever heard of " Banoffee"? Banoffee is "banana" and "tofee" ( made from boiled condensed milk) combined. There are lots of versions of it online that you definitely have to try. Some are pies, cakes, and many more.

Sister Hour
I haven't seen sisters this close before. I have a brother, so I really don't know how it feels like to have a sister. But I know it's great. Just from seeing these two, it's clear that having a sister rocks. Borrowing makeup? Answered. Clothes? Check. Some personal love advice? Covered. Everything, from here on out, as a female, we all need that kind of sister. Be it blood-related or not, being or having a sister is one of the best occupations in the world.

Just Every Summer
Every summer. Just every summer. For three consecutive summers, I always end up breathing for my life. I am asthmatic ( which I totally hate) and somehow one of the external factors that would trigger an asthma attack is extreme temperature. Exposure to cold air or hot humid air can lead to an asthma attack. And since it IS summer, I got confined in the hospital. Again! ( For another post regarding my summer and asthma complaints, read here. )

Hidden
Laughing. Not worrying. Freedom. It was one heck of an adventure my friends and I have experienced during our summer escapade. Deceitful drivers, extreme disappointments, accidents. But we went on. From the number of 21, there were 7 people left. Imagine that.

Water Glow
Seeing the water glow during your takes is like seeing fireflies light up in the dark distance. Unreachable but beautiful. The sight of blue in your pictures, the soothing sound of splashes and waves and especially, that fresh feeling you have once you get into the water are some of the many things you'd experience during summer. We spent the whole afternoon basking under the beautiful summer sun. We needed it. We needed freedom. And freedom was there to welcome us even for one day.

The Blueness Of Summer
When you think of summer, what color comes into your mind? I bet your answer is either orange or yellow. But let me tell you. Summer can't be without blue. Lots and lots of blue.

Baguio Photo Diary ( Part 2)
Instagram: @mausarcon
A snapshot of me and Mac in Burnham Park
After that looooong ten hour drive ( feels like a gazillion years in the car), we finally had a good night rest in one of Baguio's affordable inns: the Sta. Theresa Inn (check them out if you guys want to travel to Baguio and are needing an affordable and comfortable place to stay). We snored like there's no tomorrow. That was a literal point taken.

Baguio Photo Diary ( Part 1)
Instagram: @mausarcon
First touchdown photo of me in Baguio.
Today, like right now, I am currently hyped up. I don't know why but my blood's boiling like I want to do something intense. Something dangerous. Something extreme. I want to shout at the top of my lungs until I lose my breath and more! So much adrenaline.

A Touch of Yellow
After coming back to Cebu on Monday evening, WORK welcomed me with open arms the day after. <///3 So I did not get to blog any of my Baguio adventures at all. I didn't have the time. But now, no more! My rest days are now here and I can't wait to spend the whole day blogging about our short escapade!
The night before our flight to Baguio, I gathered all my sweaters I bought from Cy Pitogo and brought them with me. Since Baguio is well known for its all year round coldness, I picked out mostly sweaters and long sleeves from my wardrobe and packed them all up in one go! And this outfit was one of them.

A Ray of Sunshine
Now that all the fuss of being sick is gone, I'm back to being healthy and up and running ( I think). That was one heck of a week full of sleepless nights, headache-inducing coughs, dehydration overload, loud wheezing breath sounds heard in the middle of the night and more. I made my family worry. Cry. And not to mention, do things for me.

Pieces of Summer ( Part 2)
From a sore throat and a dry cough to a high fever and asthma attacks, this is getting out of hand. I am sick. So sick. I can't even open my eyes properly as I am blogging this now. Body malaise all over. On a hot summer day, I am getting chills. This is not good at all. I am craving for some coconut juice and a dozen of doughnuts. If you would be kind enough to bring me those, I am forever in your debt.

Pieces of Summer ( Part 1)
Oh, I can't believe I am having a sore throat again! Not to mention, a dry cough! Seriously. It makes me want to wear a poker face the whole day just to save what's left of my voice and just lie down on my warm bed. Summer is here! And here I am, having a sore throat and a dry cough under the scorching hot sun.

{ Yellow Light }
I have to be careful here and there because my blog might go inactive and that is really a bad thing. Once it goes inactive, I have to submit a ticket to the main site and that is really a hassle for me. I have to be active now and then. And I had learned my lesson from that previous experience. It was horrible thinking about it. ( ̄ω ̄;) Can you imagine? You would lose your 'blogging' power?
Today will be a short blog.
Since summer is well, SUMMER, I decided to post about my summer wear. And my mind suddenly went, TING, I WANT YELLOW. YELLOW IS GOOOOOD. And there you have it. The birth of that idea.
The night before I went to Camotes Island, I hurried to Gaisano Talamban and bought the necessities I need for the said departure with my team.

The two-piece was worth 300 php and up and the cover-up, 100PHP plus. And there was a sale, so YAAAY to discounts. Hooorah ♥ (☆^O^☆)
The sunblock worth 198 PHP as I can remember.
Slippers were 50 PHP. ( YES, 50 PHP )
And the headband was worth 35 PHP.
And the total expenditure I had was more or less, 500 PHP. ( And again, YAAAY TO DISCOUNTS)
While in Camotes, I had snapshots here and there. And (c) goes to Mitch Atillo and her hubby. ♥ MAKASUYA. Haha.

Facebook destroyed quality so forgive me. (-_-)ゞ゛
CHEERS TO SUMMER. ♥♥♥
Oh, oh. Before I forget, I want to greet my brother a HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY. ♥ (-^〇^-)

{ The Summer Feel }
Since I've been busy with lessons and all that, I have missed the wonders of blogging. And since I am not THAT busy tonight, I decided to blog about the summer escapade I had with my former team.
We had our escapade in CAMOTES ISLAND.
Camotes is located southeast of Manila, northeast of Cebu and west of Ormoc. It has four islands and is divided into four municipalities.
Everyone was so pumped out for this.

HOW TO GET TO CAMOTES ISLAND:

Haha. This is funny because everyone woke up so early in the morning for the travel. I woke up at 1 AM in the morning and my friends were already sending me text messages to eventually "WAKE UP". Lol.
From Jolibee Highway, we rode a jeepney heading for Danao. The fare is 30 Php. When we arrived at Danao Port, we had some Jobi breakfast while waiting for our 5:30 AM trip. The trip lasted for 3 hours and we managed to get a sight of a wonderful sunrise that day.

Spectacular as it is, it was breath-taking. ♥
When we docked the Camotes port, our shuttle service was already waiting for us.
Since I hadn't had the chance to take a decent photo of our service, I took the liberty to use my co-blogger's picture of her in it.

@ Tara: I am sorry for the snatchy me. >D
Our first stop was Buho Rock Resort.
I think this photo will be enough to tell its wonders.

This was our first stop but we were already drenched in sweat. It was scorching hot and we had to climb up a flight of stairs. The step was steep. It took a lot of our energy. Lol.

After that certain exercise that we had, our stomachs were grumbling as a result of it. So we took a trip around town and headed to some carenderias ( a small eatery) and filled our stomachs with scrumptious food.
Our second stop was Timubo Cave in San Francisco.
I hesitated to the fact that when I read the precautions of the said cave, it stated that it wasn't recommended for people who are asthmatic. So saaaaad. I would miss half the adventure. But fortunately, my friends kept rooting for me and encouraged me to go in as long as I am careful of my breathing. I love them ♥
P.S. I am asthmatic. D:
The sign stated that it has less air inside ( Obviously, since it is an underground cave LOL) and it is not advisable for asthmatics, people with rheumatic diseases and who are hypertensive.
Water Level:
High Tide - 6 ft.
Low Tide - 5 ft.

It was one way to cool ourselves down from the heat. The water was so refreshing and cool. ♥
Third stop was Lake Danao. This lake is rumored to have the shape of a number eight and not only that, but it is also the largest lake in the Visayan region. There are various activities to be done here. You can go horse-back riding, do some kayaking, and more.

While I, ooooh, I wanted to do the latter.

I know I'm such a loser for not having a photo of myself while kayaking, but all odds are ever in my favor. illOTL We were lucky that it was raining so we didn't have to kayak under the dangerous UV rays of the sun. Lol.
After the various activities, we headed to Santiago White Beach. There are lots of resorts there to choose from. We stayed at Payag Beach Resort.
The weather was, so to say, suitable for a swim. It was drizzling and we had problems to cover our camera equipment. The weather was on our side this time. Lol.

Ms. Michelle's hubby was kind enough to give us some shots here and there. One sample of their snapshot was this:

Although it was night time, we were telling ghost stories and oooh, not to mention, boys. Lol.

Everyone was having fun at this occasion. Sad to say, it ended too quick. :C BOOOO BOOOO. I hope I get to visit this place again someday. ♥ And of course, with this crazy bunch.

Going back to the wishlist I had,
... is now crushed out. YAAAAAAY.
Camoteeees Island ♥
