Remember my post about me wanting to visit La Vie Parisienne at night because I wanted to see the flowers light up? Well, I finally got to do it. And it sure was magical.

{ Manggahan }

Yup. That's it. That is the title I will have for this blog. Manggahan. Manggahan is a visayan term meaning " a place with many mango trees".  Here, in this case, is the name of a restaurant located at 30 Wilson st., Apas , 6000 Lahug, Cebu City, Philippines.

I would like to thank Mary Palompon for the invitation. Her thanksgiving party was held here at this place so I decided to blog it all out.


This is the restaurant's stage where they have live bands performing every Fridays and Saturdays. Sad to say, we didn't get to watch a band perform since we visited the place on a Thursday. :D

When Mary sent me an invitation to her thanksgiving party and told me the name of the venue, I was like " Say what again?". Yes. With that name, you will wonder. But have you ever wondered why it's called that way? Well, this; I tell you. They have many mango trees located at the back of the restaurant as an extension of the place. Thus, the name.

Manggahan offers a wide variety of grilled meat and seafood dishes, Filipino and Chinese cuisine alike. They also serve exotic meals like Crocodile Sisig for 188 PHP ( Yes, it is sisig made up of crocodile meat) for those who have adventurous taste buds. You can dine in an air-conditioned room or dine outside under the shades of the mango trees.

Their prices are surprisingly low. Their prices for unlirice for mais or corn and humay are 20PHP and 25PHP respectively.

We enjoyed the mouthwatering food and its stupendous unique taste. ♥ It was an all out experience for me.

They also serve alcoholic drinks. So if you want to waste the night away with your friends and still be in a place where good ambiance is present, Manggahan is perfect for you. As you can see, Guada is having a drink herself. :3

We spent the whole evening here before heading out to karaoke again. Me, and my friends. Haha. ♥

{ Hoohaaah - Time for the Boodle Fight}

Haha. I just felt like saying "Hooohah" in the title. Forgive meh.

I just discovered a very nice ...epic... restaurant wherein you can get your stomach to "hoooohahh" the meals.

Have you ever experienced a boodle fight? Last March 16, 2013, my team's lunch out was held at Captain A’s Seafood Grill. With all the "hooohhaaah" dishes, you're definitely in for a fight.

For those who don't know what a boodle fight means, it is defined as "eating combat" or "attack the food". It is usually done by the PMA ( Philippine Military Academy) wherein, regardless of age and rank, gathers around a long table to share a meal. They indulge themselves with food spread over banana leaves using no utensils or the sort. But since Captain A is merely a restaurant, they offer utensils as an option. Haha.

So Captain A's Seafood Grill offers a wide range of boodle sets to choose from.

I just had to take snapshots of their menu. Sssssh. (´∇ﾉ｀*)ノ

For every set, you get free five (5) glasses of iced tea and a fruit cocktail dessert.

My team ordered three sets.

1.) BIRTHDAY BOODLE

( for the birthday celebrant Selena)

2.) SINUGBA FESTIVAL

(since I definitely love baked shellfish, I kept bugging my TL for this.)

3.) BATTLE OF MACTAN

And one of the known attributes of Captain A's Seafood Grill is their shouty "military" way of a birthday greeting. I was shocked at the same time was amazed at their "ugh" aura.

And clearly, Yvanne was having fun. Haha.

And so does my CRAJEE family.

And I get to spoonfeed someone.  （＞ｙ＜） Kufufufufu~

All in all, it was an ubber awesome resto.

If you have any special occassions especially birthdays, I definitely recommend this restau.

You're definitely in for a surprise.

{ keep the flame burning }

Okay, since Valentines is over and Otakufest too, I get to be "not-THAT-busy" again. Haha.

I'm waiting for people to tag me photos of my cosplay since I arrived late at the event. After work, I wooooshed my way to UP grounds with Labs. She has such wonderful hands that can make any rainbows you can think of. ( Ignore me.)

Anyhoo, I'm going to introduce the wonders of my friends on Valentines Day.

They went with me to the sastre so I could get the costume on Valentines Day. Imagine that. ON Valentines Day. ♥

Fubu (Mico) wasn't about to go with us (r: traffic, parents, place of address) but I managed to persuade him somehow. YEY to the power of persuasion. (*^*)> ♥

After some errands here and there, we went out for dinner. We went to the nearest restaurant there is just to celebrate Vday. Haha. And that place would be Lola Eat's Food Haus. 

Their food was grand and delicious. And most of all, their prices were so affordable. Believe me, was so AFFORDABLE.

When we asked for the receipt, ( I was already estimating the range of expense), I was sooooo shocked ( not only me, but also Behbeh and Labs) that it was the least of our expectations ♥ Good heavens. This I approve. And I recommend you guys to try this restau sometime. I give it two-thumbs-up. ☻
