Indulgence

We were greeted with rain showers so early in the morning and it was just the day after Mac and I celebrated our first anniversary together ( Hoorah to the two of us!). We ( Mac, Starr, Guada and I) rode all the way to BTC to get ourselves some Jafar's shawarma rice and gobbled away. You guys should check them out! Their food's really delicious! We battled against flood after flood and I feared for my car's spark plug! Haha. It was tough but we made it all in one piece. Gemms ( my car's name) did his best and we managed somehow. Another hoorah!

I am such a fan of Nadia. She is the epitome of body positivity. She's so chic and so beautiful; both inside and out. Just imagine me auto-liking her every photo update on Instagram and I keep on visiting her blog ( like ten times a day!). And looking back at these photos, oooooh, how I wish to be like her.

BUSY!

I was so busy last week that I didn't have time to make a new blog post! It was our company's anniversary and I had to cram and cram and cram! It was a one-week celebration and we were practicing songs ( Eternal Flame by The Bangles, Brave by Sara Bareilles and Sunday Morning by Maroon 5) so that took most of my time. Our schedules would conflict and because of that, we barely practiced at all! ( But nonetheless, it was a success!) So no outfit shots, no new places to explore and no new blog posts! I cry!

As Sweet As Sunshine

For the past few weeks, I've been craving for cupcakes. Scratch that. I've been SPECIFICALLY craving for Kim's sister's cupcakes. Just that one bite makes you feel like you're in heaven. The luscious twirl frosting melts in your mouth as you bite the chocolate cake underneath it. It has the right amount of sweetness and can make you go for round two.

Happy Gaming: Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly

This was the first game I played in the Fatal Frame franchise. We had a PS2 and I wanted to choose and play my own game( My brother and my cousin were hogging the PS2 all to themselves). The cover caught my attention when I was picking out games in a video game shop and had set my eyes on it ever since. And that was the beginning of something mutual. ♥

Saya

Here in the Philippines, the word "saya" has two meanings. The first meaning would be our traditional "skirt". The skirt that would start from your torso and extends to your ankles. It has the word "conservative" written all over it. This is what the Filipino women wore during the Spanish colonial times. It must have been hard. ( Imagine yourself walking in these in the humid heat).

Friendship Shots

After the collaboration that Kim and I had for our outfit shoot, we took a very slight turn from being prim and proper to goofing around and taking snapshots of our friendship. Mac was kind enough to take photos of me and my silly friends as we struggled to keep up what's left of our goofiness and also of our hunger!
