It was tranquility at its finest. Nature definitely treats you differently than anything else in the world. It gives you this unexplained serenity that you just can't seem to define. The Bohol man-made forest is a man-made mahogany forest stretching in two kilometers of densely planted Mahogany trees located in the border of Loboc and Bilar towns. Since we were riding a motorcycle, we got to enjoy the scent of nature and the breeze of the sky. This sense of calmness engulfed Mark and I, and we just had to stop and enjoy every ounce of it (and also, take pictures).

Bohol - Hinagdanan Cave
If there's one tourist place that I would have my second thoughts on it, it would be caves. Aside from being asthmatic, I just don't like to think that I would be going in an enclosed place with bats, a few lights, and one escape route in case of worst case scenarios. It gives me the heebies-jeebies. However, Mark wanted to show me this place because we were already in Tagbilaran City (we had to withdraw money haha). This would be the second cave I have been to in my entire life. First one was in Camotes island.

Bohol - Loboc River
Aaaaaaah! Finally! I am proud to say that I have finally toured Bohol, all thanks to my husband, Mark. After so many frequent visits to Bohol (and my countless persuasion to Mark and at last, he gave in), we toured six different tourist spots in just one afternoon. Bringing your own vehicle to Bohol was definitely a great idea. In the beginning, it was a hassle since there was so much paperwork to do, but having it on another island is a different story. The purpose of our visit was to pay our respects to Mark's late brother who died two years ago. It was his death anniversary. Aaah, I just don't know where to begin. Well, at least let me start at the very beginning.

Baby Sophie's 1st Birthday
I drove all the way to Consolacion to meet this certain cutie and surely, I wasn't disappointed. Babies are balls of pure innocence. Baby Sophie was the epitome of it. She was my first toddler muse. ♥ I always wanted to try shooting with a toddler or a baby and Baby Sophie gave me that chance.

Get Back Up
I have been through so many experiences in general. Some were heart-breaking; others were traumatizing. Some—unforgettable. ♥ Looking back, it's hilarious to think that I have been through so many things at my age. Well, as they always say, experience is the best teacher (and will be always). Witnessing so many events in my life has molded me to who I am today. Only a few people know the real me and I intend to keep it that way. I usually open up to people whom I can trust. To others, I show a different persona, and it's not going to end there.

Freedom
This was the first time in a long time that I have had a decent photography project that I've been wanting to try on. Since there were only a few places with decent neon lights in them, we had to pick a place where we can freely take shots and not be stared at by people. So I browsed the internet for places with lights on Google images and Cafe Racer was one of the results. And I thought to myself, Hey. I have never been here. Might as well hit two birds with one stone. Cafe Racer it was! So my friends and I all went to North Reclemation and spent the night away drinking beer, chatting non-stop, and eating pizza.

STK Ta Bai!
I just realized that I've been exploring new places nowadays! A big yay for me. I usually am lazy when it comes to heading out and planning out where to go next. I think the only place I usually frequent would be Ayala. I am thankful for friends like Su. She brings out the explorer in me. Haha!

Cordova
Adventures are always the best. When Suna invited Mark and I to go see 10,000 Roses cafe located in Cordova, I just couldn't refuse. I wanted to see this place for myself. I have heard so many beautiful things about this place and I wanted to see it personally.

May 17, 2017 – Our Wedding Day
I thank God for giving me you. I thank the lucky stars for making our paths cross. I thank every encounter, every heart break, every lesson learnt, for making us grow together, through the bad times and through the good times. Our life together turned out to be magical. I knew, deep inside my heart, that you were the one I'm going to marry. Our friends thought so too. I can't believe it's been two months since we said our vows.

Moalboal 2017
June 3, 2017, Saturday. The purpose for this journey was to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, to feel no attachments, to feel at ease, and to see Lara again. That was where we were getting at. Except for the heat, the prickly water, and the expenses, everything was going great.

Bon Odori 2017
We just celebrated Mark's birthday on the 22nd, just a few days after our wedding. We were already celebrating firsts fresh from the altar, and now, it was our first Bon Odori together, also a few days after his birthday. Haha. I can't believe it has been exactly two weeks since we said our vows. God has been so good to us both and I want to thank Him from the bottom of my heart.

Mac & Mau To Infinity and Beyond
She feels like everything in her life has led her to him. Her decisions, her heartbreaks, her regrets. Everything. And when they're together, her past seems worth it. Because if she had done one thing differently, she might never have met him.

With You & Only You – Pre-Wedding Photo Session
First of all, I would like to apologize for not uploading our third photo session before the wedding. I was so busy since we only had days left before the big day. Anyway, for the third and final one, we originally wanted the shoot to be done in Camp Marina, but it was raining cats and dogs. Plan A became a spontaneous Plan B. The first shoot was done in Coffee Prince in Osmeña, so we took our time because the rain wasn't planning on letting up. After some bungisngis (google it up) smiles here and there, we looked outside and the rain stopped. We decided and hurriedly went to Camp Marina.

Beginning Is At Hand – Pre-Wedding Video
Ahhh! It's finally out! All our strutting, running, and gasping were all worth it. I was too pumped and hyped about the video, but Mark and I had to chill for the release date, and that's today. We had the video shot in different places, and they were all stunning. ♥ We saw the sun set and the sun rise like they were meant for us at that exact moment. It was all so stupendous.

It Is Real – Pre-Wedding Photo Session
Mark and I have been very busy these past few weeks. Our days are full packed with schedules and meet ups. It's the final hustle and bustle, guys. Weeks will become days and days will become hours. That's how time works. I still remember how Mark proposed (who would ever forget his proposal?) like it was yesterday. Everything's ready, and truly, this is the penultimate. The nervousness we felt before is now totally gone as we came to a point and realized that we couldn't imagine a world without each other. This is where it starts.

Skoro Uvidimsya!
Ahhhh. It feels as if it's all coming to an end as the big day's fast approaching. I know, I know. Don't get me wrong here now; we all know endings are prologues of something new. Mark and I have many big dreams and ambitions in life, and we are going to accomplish them step by step. And of course, with the guidance and help of our Lord Almighty.

You Are My View – Pre-Wedding Photo Session
Since the big day is fast approaching and February's the month of love, here are some shots from our shoot with Jessica. I have chosen just a few for this blog post just because. Jess has her share of sharpness and color boost with the photos, and based on what I see, I know she had a lot of fun taking and editing these. ♥ Though I'm a fan of soft-colored ones, but as photographers, we differ with our arts and styles. Thank you, Jess, for the opportunity (sorry for always laughing during takes).

Welcome to Sirao: The Little Amsterdam of Cebu!
Today was spectacular. A friend of mine offered her services for free as a photographer and had the honor to do our first ever prenuptial shoot. And no, this post isn't about the photos; it's about the adventure the three of us spent together. The invitation was so spontaneous that we didn't get to bring as many clothes and props to use for the shoot, but as what they always say, come what may. I wanted to take a look at my friend's shots, but she wouldn't let us see. I take it as a surprise then. Haha. Thank you, Jess, for the time today and for bringing me and Mark to Sirao. It was so memorable and today was so beautiful!
